@witix it's horrible how many bad actors are trying to capitalize on genocide and undermining people who actually need help, it's not as prominent here on Fedi, but at least on Bluesky there are a lot of bots i don't think Gaza Verified would be a thing otherwise
@rain the person I'm talking about claims to be on Gaza Verified (I haven't checked yet), but I think it's a little coincidental how 3 seperate people have seven children, have a husband that lost his eye in the war, and decide to tell that in a private message with the same script, word for word
@witix@rain I've had to block some of those bots that decided to follow me a few times, I don't think the Gaza Verified label means anything at all, if anything, it's a red flag
